When: 5 December, 2024. Presenters will be scheduled across a lunchtime block between 1200 and 1330 EST.

Where: The National Drone Games will take place at the U.S. National Drone Conference, hosted at Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida, in the Full Sail Live Event Venue. 3300 University Blvd, Winter Park, FL 32792

Why the Games?

Acquisition and innovation communities across sectors identify compartmentalized information and duplicative effort as barriers to advancement. The function of the USNDA is to increase transparency and cooperation between all contributors to the U.S. drone industrial base, independent of technology readiness levels, “UAS lists”, or acquisition requirements.

The purpose of the National Drone Games is to level set the nation on the state of existing and emerging drone technologies, applications, and limiting factors preventing scale.

The USNDA does not endorse any specific company or solution, and does not provide recommendations to USNDA partners. Applications to present are crowd sourced and presenters are selected by an independent USDNA “user jury” based on popular vote as a sample area of combined interest.

Why Present?

Presenters will receive wide exposure to communities of interest as well as valuable feedback from industry experts. The National Drone Games “Solutions Snapshot” summary will be distributed for circulation to all USNDA partners across academia, industry, government, and international partners. DoD stakeholders frequently identify challenges with limited bandwidth to review slide decks, schedule hour long vendor presentations, and attend field demonstrations.

The mission of the National Drone Games is to capture your solution in an ingestible summary for maximum circulation to relevant stakeholders and communities of interest following the conference. In addition, attendees at the National Drone Games will be able to “TEXT” live requests for more information and product follow up during your presentation.

FAQ

  • How much does it cost to showcase?  There is no cost to showcase, and attendance to the conference is free.

  • What are the venue capabilities? Full Sail University is a full film production university. The Live event venue had tri-screen, streaming, and broadcasting capabilities, with a full technical team assigned to presenters, and has held events such a WWE Mania, and full concert productions.

  • What should I present? Keep it simple and don’t embellish. Don’t brief your founders story. Don’t brief why your product is the best, the fastest, the cheapest. Identify the problem you are solving, why your product or service is better, fast(er), or cheap(er). Gain credibility by name dropping current customers. Brief the room on your challenges and how they can help scale your solution.

  • Who should present? Your presentation should read like a technical manual but sound like a bedtime story read by Morgan Freeman. We highly recommend the Founder and/or CEO present personally, both for energy for the presentation as well as follow on engagement with attendees at the conference. Attendees will want direct insight into your capability and flexibility roadmap that may not be readily available to your business development team.

  • Will I have technical support for my presentation? Yes. The USNDA team will provide immediate support to help craft your 6 minute presentation. We will not be able to help with the development of any graphics or presentation assets, but can assist with scripting, storytelling, and presentation strategy. We will also ensure your presentation is compatible with the venue and assist with setup and management the day of the event.

  • Can I do a live demo and/or fly a drone at the venue? Probably. Once you confirm acceptance of this invitation, the USNDA team will reach out to help determine a demonstration strategy given the capabilities and do our best to facilitate approvals. Our goal is to help you deliver the most immersive and compelling presentation to the audience, and we will work together to accomplish that goal within the safety constraints of the venue.
